Greek astrophotography equipment manufacturer receives recognition in the EU Business News Hellenic Business Awards 2026.
Prometheus Astro is pleased to announce that we have been named Best Astrophotography Equipment Manufacturer 2026 in the Hellenic Business Awards, organized by EU Business News.
Founded in Greece with a focus on engineering-driven innovation, Prometheus Astro develops precision equipment for astrophotographers who demand reliability, accuracy, and thoughtful design.
At the center of our development efforts is the Týr Harmonic Drive Telescope Mount, a compact, high-payload mount engineered to combine mechanical precision, advanced electronics, and modern telescope control software.
Our work extends beyond telescope mounts to electronic focusing systems and other essential astrophotography accessories, all developed with the same emphasis on practical engineering and real-world imaging requirements.
Built by Astrophotographers, for Astrophotographers
Prometheus Astro began with a straightforward ambition: to create the astrophotography equipment we wanted to use ourselves.
From mechanical design and electronics development to firmware, testing, and customer support, our products reflect an ongoing commitment to improvement.
Receiving this recognition is an encouraging milestone for our company, and one that motivates us to continue developing capable and accessible equipment for the international astrophotography community.
We would like to thank our customers, partners, and fellow astrophotographers for their trust, feedback, and support.
The journey continues.
