Prometheus Astro Flat Panel Cover Calibrator for Astrophotography — Forged in Myth. Built for the Stars.
Astrophotography requires precision at every step. The Flat Panel Cover Calibrator for astrophotography brings together two critical functions in a single device: a motorized dust cover and a flat-field calibration panel. Designed for refractors from 50mm to 150mm aperture, it ensures your imaging train stays protected while delivering professional-grade calibration frames with ease.
At the heart of the Flat Panel Calibrator is a uniform LED panel, providing 1024 finely tuned brightness levels through PWM control. Whether you need perfectly balanced flats or consistent dark coverage, the FPC gives you the reliability your imaging workflow demands.
The cover mechanism is driven by a planetary gear stepper motor, engineered for smooth and precise operation, ensuring a complete light seal for true dark frames. Power is provided via 12V input jack and is simple and universal,
With ASCOM compatibility (and INDI drivers in development), the FPC Calibrator integrates seamlessly into modern astrophotography setups. It’s more than just a tool — it’s an all-in-one solution that saves time, protects your optics, and elevates your imaging results.
